Phew. Ended up going over to Oxford Street, and it’s never the best of places to be, let alone close to Christmas! However, I managed to get quite a few stocking fillers, so I’m pretty pleased. Happy days. We also spent about 2 or 3 hours in Starbucks, overlooking the street from high up, which was fun. On the way, we took the DLR, and it was raining, which meant I got some pretty cool photographs. Ah, I love my DSLR. It’s a little beauty, and the focusing does exactly what I want it to do…in focus, out of focus, it’s my best friend!
However, the Starbucks in now inside of New Look; this is not exactly a good thing. The boy was doing his revision. I was fiddling around with my phone, but I got a tad bored. What’s a girl to do? Yes, I went on a wander in New Look. I picked up 7 items of clothing, went into the changing rooms…and came away with 3 that I bought. Whoops-a-daisy. They’re pretty though.
And I also got a black t-shirt, with a picture of New York on it, which says “New York City, Where Dreams Are Made” I’m in love with it. Naughty Sarah. But, hey, at least I did get some Christmas shopping done! Plus, I got two stocking fillers from New Look too… Here are some snaps from today…
I hope you have all had a good Monday, how’s it been? Today was nice, we had breakfast at Wetherspoons (mine was a Veggie breakfast, yum), lunch at Mc Donald’s, coffee in Starbucks and yummy dinner from the boy’s Nan. All in all, the food was good today. Maybe a little indulgent, but who cares? You’re allowed naughty days sometimes…

Blue 1950′s Sweetheart Swing Dress
Blue Bow Button Wedges
Wow, it’s not often that a bag can take my breath away! This is inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and it’s absolutely lovely. I’ve not seen anything quite like it before…and I want it… Look at those amazing little details on it…what’s not to like? Unfortunately, again, like the dress, the price tag is a little too much for me! This one totals £65…just a bit less than the dress – and for a little more, that’s what you could get, a DRESS! Hmmm, not sure what to make of it now. Should a bag be more expensive than a dress? Or should a dress be more expensive than a bag? I don’t know personally but both of them are too expensive for my liking…lower it down to the £20s and then we’ll talk some more!
A lovely t-shirt from Dorothy Perkins – can a t-shirt help to save the planet? I hope so. It has “The Grass Could Be Greener” printed across it and a fraction of the profits go towards the Woodland Trust. Would look good with jeans or tucked into a high waisted skirt – as I wore it the other night!
