Do not change for anyone but you…

It’s a shame, when people constantly seem to be changing…and always seem unsure of themselves. It’s often the case, that they’re changing themselves for others; to fit in with a crowd, to please someone, to conform to the way they think they’re expected to behave. I guess sometimes it is hard to seek yourself out, especially when you’re a teenager. But it comes with time. All you really need to do is to be yourself, even if you don’t know who you are right now. Your true self will shine through. If you’re a happy person, smile, if you’re a thoughtful person, be thoughtful. Just don’t shape yourself to please others; you should only seek to please yourself. And then those around you will like you, because you’re you. And you’re unique. Don’t be afraid, there’s nothing to be scared of. Finding yourself should be fun, it’s a journey of discovery. Yes, people do change, but they’re still them. Their true personality will hopefully still shine through…the only thing that changes, is perhaps their attitude to things, as we all learn from life as it happens. But just don’t change for anyone…but yourself.
