As you might have gathered from reading past posts of mine, I’m a bit of a Starbucks addict. With their newest addition, Vanilla Spice Latte, I am one happy little lady. So, throw in a tiny, cute, nostalgic notebook that Mona bought me that afternoon; I am complete.

What are you loving right now? (All photographs taken by yours truly, please ask if you want to use them.)
Words, words, words.
24 NovWords that I am loving right now:
♥ Dayum – this is basically a cute, extended way to say “Damn”
♥ Special – because, well, who doesn’t like this word? People are special, and I will tell them so.
♥ Happy – enough said. Happy is a good word. It’s a dayum good word!
♥ Yellow – this word now reminds me of memories I made with someone from my signing class; and it reminds me of the song Yellow by Coldplay, and the sign-song video that Lee (of Lee’s BSL Songs) made. Still sad that the channel got deleted (see previous post).
♥ Lovely – this is one of my all-time-favourite words! I definitely have a tendency to overuse it sometimes…but, y’kno, it is a lovely word…
♥ Goofy – see my previous post about getting in touch with your Goofy Side…and you’ll understand.
♥ Wanderlust – oh, how I love this word! Isn’t it a lovely word? It means someone who itches to travel, and loves everything about travelling. Beautiful word!
♥ Seaside – well, seeing as the seaside is one of my favourite places, isn’t it only natural that I love the word too…?
♥ Rainbows – hmm…since it’s one half of my blog title, do I really need to say much more on this one?
♥ Quirky – a word that I simply adore, and I love using it to describe something. Do you know those words, which when you use, make you feel all excited? No? Hmm, just me then, but this is one of those words! I love using it when I can…
What are your favourite words at the moment? Do share.
Day 25: Recharge
25 OctUnless you have superpowers, then there must be times when you run out of energy. Maybe you’ve been working yourself to the grindstone, or filling your days with non-stop activities, keeping busy to the point where you have no time to stop until you go to bed. We all have those times, times when we just want to drop everything and just rest for a while. Instead of dismissing your needs, embrace them and treat those calm, relaxed moments just as you would treat an activity that would make your life busy. Saviour those moments, and learn to make them a part of your life. Many people tend to forget how to relax, forget how important it is to relax, but it is just as essential to our overall health and happiness as being busy is.
If you’ve found yourself tired and exhausted, take the time to stop for a while and recharge. Do those calming activities that will help you to rewind and relax, forget about your troubles and hectic times, and fall into a state of calm. Maybe there’s a book you’ve been meaning to read, or a film you’ve been wanting to watch, well now is the time to catch up on those things. If we spend a bit of time looking after ourselves, and recharge our batteries every now and then, we’re sure to run better. After all, our phones need charging in order to run, and we need those moments to refuel.
Are some of your happy moments those in which you’re recharging?
